In response to the call of the country's "the Belt and Road Initiative", "China Africa Forum" and "BRICS", Hebei Richard Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd. gave full play to its own advantages, extensively carried out international cooperation with South Africa, Ghana, Kenya, France and Spain, and carried out cooperative research on the introduction and utilization of crop germplasm resources, crop breeding, water-saving irrigation and joint development of medicinal plants. 
China's maize germplasm resources are scarce, with narrow genetic genes, and there is a significant gap compared to South Africa. Fully utilizing African corn germplasm resources, especially the submerged manufacturing industry in South Africa, is the only way for China to cultivate new corn varieties.
Intended country: The
main problem that South Africa intends to solve through the project is to introduce excellent and characteristic maize germplasm resources from Africa, especially those with short stalks, large ears, long grains, and good plant and leaf types. Combining with local (temperate) resources in China, the advantage of distant hybridization is strong, and the probability of cultivating ideal new hybrid varieties is high. To solve the problems of scarce maize germplasm resources, narrow genetic genes, and severe homogenization in China. To achieve the goal of high yield of maize with short stalks, high density and stress resistance (high and low temperatures, diseases and pests), cultivate new and large varieties, change the current maize yield from 500-750Kg/ha, and quickly increase and achieve 1000-1500Kg/ha. Make greater contributions to global food security and addressing human food and clothing needs.
